Ma Mark — a premium leather brand positioning itself as “The King of Leather” — needed a direct-to-consumer storefront that matched the quality of their handcrafted product. Off-the-shelf platforms forced compromises: limited video integration, shallow product storytelling, and template-driven layouts that felt like a Shopify store, not a brand.
Indian mobile commerce is brutal on performance budgets. The audience expects the storefront to load on a 4G connection in Tier-2 cities, with full product video, and still convert at desktop-equivalent rates. The platform also had to handle pan-India shipping, five payment methods, and live discounting — at launch, not in a future quarter.
Our approach
We built Ma Mark on Next.js with a Supabase backend powering products, inventory, and video assets. The product page was the primary canvas: large imagery, in-line video demos hosted on Supabase storage, and a clean cart flow with no friction.
Performance was non-negotiable. We shipped with Lighthouse mobile scores in the 90s on real Tier-2 networks, video that lazy-loads only when the user scrolls to it, and a checkout flow that survives flaky connectivity.
Brand pages — About, Contact, Returns, Privacy — were built into the storefront rather than bolted on. Customer trust on a ₹5,000+ purchase requires the boring pages to look as cared-for as the hero.
The solution
Custom product catalogue with category browsing — Jackets, Bags, Accessories — and detailed product pages with video integration via Supabase storage.
Live discount engine running a Big Season Sale flat 30% off, driven from the admin without code changes.
Full shopping cart and checkout flow with multi-gateway payment support: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.
Free pan-India shipping integration with carrier-aware delivery estimates and address validation.
Mobile-first responsive design optimized for India’s mobile e-commerce reality.
SEO-optimized product URLs with structured metadata; admin-friendly product management via Supabase.
Social commerce integration linking out to Instagram and Facebook, plus email CTAs throughout the journey.
We didn’t want another Shopify store — we wanted something that felt like our brand. TechNboost built us exactly that. The video product pages alone have changed how customers engage with our jackets. Conversions on product pages with video are noticeably higher than the static-image ones.
