Vedic Voyages — a UK-based escorted-tour operator with an Indian subsidiary — needed a website that could carry the depth of authentic cultural tourism. The existing site treated India as a stock-photo destination. They wanted an editorial experience that matched the journeys themselves.
The catalogue had three distinct product modes: group tours, tailor-made trips, and a travel-inspiration content hub. Eight regional destinations, 14+ tour categories, and customers across the UK, India, and the US. Every previous template they’d tried collapsed under that combinatorial weight.
Our approach
We treated every destination as a story, not a SKU. Cinematic video on the homepage, editorial typography throughout, and a structured catalogue separating Group Tours from Tailor-Made Holidays — with destination, tour-type, and month filters powering a unified search.
Multi-region was native: a country selector that respects browser locale, dual phone numbers (UK and India) surfaced contextually, and a 100+-country newsletter signup so global travellers can subscribe regardless of where they live.
We worked alongside their team in Slough and their operations in India through the build — daily standups across time zones, weekly editorial reviews, and a launch that aligned with their peak Indian travel season.
The solution
Cinematic video hero on the homepage telling the story of an Indian journey, with a country-selector for regional context.
Three-filter catalogue search engine: Tour Type × Destination × Month.
Eight destination categories — Kashmir & Himalayas, Rajasthan & North, Kerala & South, Kolkata & North East, Central India, Taj & Delhi, Spiritual UP (Ayodhya, Varanasi), Uttarakhand & Himachal.
Nine group-tour categories: Cultural Adventures, Epic Journeys, Festivals & Fairs, New & Recce Tours, Signature Tours, Solo Holidays, Trekking Tours, Wilderness Adventures, Wildlife Tours.
Six tailor-made categories: Corporate Travel, Destination Wedding, Village & Trekking Trips, Wildlife Sanctuaries, Festivals Travel, Haunted Tours.
Trustpilot-integrated testimonial carousel, “Responsible Travel” section (one tree planted per booking), and a brochure-request flow.
Air ticket, visa, and travel insurance assistance pages; multi-country newsletter signup; travel inspiration hub (blog, videos, image galleries).
Dual-region contact — UK office in Slough + India operations — with WhatsApp click-to-chat and an IATA-accredited badge.
Vedic Voyages needed a website that matched the depth of the journeys we curate. TechNboost built exactly that — a platform that lets us tell the story of India properly, while still being fast, bookable, and trustworthy for travellers anywhere in the world.
